2Students and Trainees are required to submit a photocopy of their current student ID OR letter of enrolment OR an official letter signed by their supervisor or division or department head. The document must be uploaded online after processing the online registration. On the 'Dashboard' click on the module “Trainee/Student Validation”, upload the file and save.

Cancellation & Refunds

To cancel your registration and receive a refund, a written request must be submitted to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. on or before October 1, 2024. Cancellation requests received on or before this date will be refunded less a processing fee of $50 USD. The refund will be processed after the Summit. There will be no refunds for cancellation notices/requests received after October 1, 2024. No refunds apply for no-shows.

Insurance and Liability

In the case of Government intervention or regulation, military activity, strikes or any other circumstances that make it impossible or inadvisable for the 5th Summit on Stem Cell Derived Islets to take place at the time and place provided, the delegate shall waive any claim for damages or compensation except the amount paid for registration after deduction of administrative expenses incurred in connection with the 5th Summit on Stem Cell Derived Islets and there shall be no further liability on the part of either party. All delegates are encouraged to obtain adequate coverage for travel, health and accidental insurance before they depart from their respective countries. The organizers, their suppliers or agents will not be held liable for any personal injuries, or loss of, or damage to, private property belongings to the 5th Summit on Stem Cell Derived Islets delegates.

The 5th Summit on Stem Cell Derived Islets Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend, delete and add to the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
